Improved Multiple Lyapunov Functions of input-to-output Stability and input-to-state Stability for Switched Systems

چکیده
This paper investigates the Lyapunov characterizations of input-to-output stability (IOS) and input-to-state (ISS) for nonlinear switched systems. The restriction on negativity derivatives functions is relaxed; additionally, subsystems are not restricted to be ISS/IOS throughout state space. These problems overcome by a newly proposed method, which extends multiple (MLFs) an indefinite form. Indefinite (iMLFs) basis inequality estimate upper boundary system state. Moreover, we apply iMLFs method verify extended notions IOS in system. More relaxed sufficient conditions ISS proposed, simulation experiment carried out numerical example system, demonstrates their effectiveness superiority.

Lyapunov Characterizations of Input to Output Stability
This paper presents necessary and sufficient characterizations of several notions of input to output stability. Similar Lyapunov characterizations have been found to play a key role in the analysis of the input to state stability property, and the results given here extend their validity to the case when the output, but not necessarily the entire internal state, is being regulated.
متن کاملInput-Output-to-State Stability
This work explores Lyapunov characterizations of the input-output-to-state stability (IOSS) property for nonlinear systems. The notion of IOSS is a natural generalization of the standard zero-detectability property used in the linear case. The main contribution of this work is to establish a complete equivalence between the IOSS property and the existence of a certain type of smooth Lyapunov fu...
متن کاملLyapunov conditions for input-to-state stability of impulsive systems
This paper introduces appropriate concepts of input-to-state stability (ISS) and integral-ISS for impulsive systems, i.e., dynamical systems that evolve according to ordinary differential equationsmost of the time, but occasionally exhibit discontinuities (or impulses). We provide a set of Lyapunov-based sufficient conditions for establishing these ISS properties. When the continuous dynamics a...
متن کاملInput/output-to-state stability and state-norm estimators for switched nonlinear systems
In this paper, the concepts of input/output-to-state stability (IOSS) and state-norm estimators are considered for switched nonlinear systems under average dwell-time switching signals. We show that when the average dwell-time is large enough, a switched system is IOSS if all of its constituent subsystems are IOSS. Moreover, under the same conditions, a non-switched state-norm estimator exists ...
متن کاملInput-to-state Stability of Switched Nonlinear Systems
The input-to-state stability (ISS) problem is studied for switched systems with infinite subsystems. By the method of multiple Lyapunov function, a sufficient ISS condition is given based on a quantitative relation of the input and the values of the Lyapunov functions of the subsystems before and after the switching instants. In terms of the average dwell-time of the switching laws, some suffic...
